The 7×24 Central Virginia Chapter meeting was held on Thursday, June 18th at the QTS site in Sandston, VA. Attendees were treated to presentations by Rose Sompayrac and Richard Jacobs. Rose, Account Manager at Nalco, and Richard , Senior Industry Technical Consultant for Nalco, spoke on the best practices for maintaining optimum PUE and WUE in HVAC systems.

The 7×24 Central Virginia Chapter meeting was held on March 13th of this year at the Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Downtown. The 7×24 Central Virginia Chapter meeting was held on March 18th of this year at the Wyndham Virginia Crossings Conference Center. We had two speakers for this event. Our first speaker was Michelle Poe, Virginia Economic Development Authority Manager, Business Attraction with the Virginia Economic Development Authority. This was a great talk regarding the Data Center activity in the commonwealth of Virginia. There were several key facts about how Virginia is known to be a leader in the Data Center Market, and why we have attracted some of the larger companies here on the East Coast. The Winter 2012 7×24 Exchange Central Virginia Chapter meeting was held at the QTS Data Center in Sandston, Virginia on December 4. A total of 120 industry professionals attended the event and included notable representatives from Capital One, The Federal Reserve Bank, State of Virginia – Secretary of Technology Office, Bank of America and Anthem. Numerous construction companies, consulting engineers and mission critical suppliers also participated making it the largest meeting in the chapters history.
